Hello fellow human! Are you seeking a compassionate therapist to help you explore and process your: grief, loss, trauma (and vicarious), burnout, relational issues, depression, anxiety, identity, and/or existential dread? I'd love to join you as you navigate any of the challenges listed above. I have NC licenses in both clinical mental health counseling and addictions counseling. I have been working in the helping professions for over 12 years. I work best with clients looking to process grief from all types of loss; clients who feel stuck in the same relational and professional patterns; clients who are seeking a deeper understanding of who they are and how they want to grow. I also work well with other helping and medical professionals: RNs, MDs, therapists, teachers, etc. 

 

I use an eclectic approach to counseling that is focused on your strengths and needs. My work is rooted in the power of the therapeutic relationship. In session with me, I hope you feel compassionate presence and gentle challenge. I also offer walk-and-talk sessions, if that interests you. I am in network with Aetna, BCBS, and Optum, in addition to private pay. You're welcome to use your HSA card to pay for sessions and I can provide superbills as needed. I offer a few sliding scale spots; ask for availability.
